A Month in pictures: March 2012

Well March has been a particularly amazing month for me!
I turned  30
and my amazing husband surprised me with the most incredible day 4 days before my actual birthday!

The rest of March was filled with:
* Mother's day - the older Avie gets the better these days become...she wrote the most beautiful mother's day card for me.  I am bowled over by how well she is getting on in her first year of school.  Before she broke up for the Easter hols her headmistress Miss Morris came up to me and told me how proud I should be and how amazed she was at how brilliantly Avie is doing.  Her report shows her 2-3 levels ahead of where she should be at the end of the school year and she is exceeding expectation in all areas except "knowledge of the world" where she is meeting expectation (and we are doing our best to help her in this area...by bringing her to another country
- we are currently in America on holiday! extreme! ha!)

* Lily has developed a cheeky side - unravelling the roll of toilet paper provides her with much amusement!  Me not so much....

*We got a taste of summer - we had a heat wave towards the end of March - perfectly timed for my birthday celebrations.  The summer shoes came out and the trampoline got used a lot.  Bryn started growing the new season's fruit and veg...hoping to be more self sufficient this year.  Can't wait for the strawberries - us girlies all love em!

I am so glad I've managed to keep up with 3 month's of this month in pictures challenge...so much so I am submitting March's from a campervan in Boston!

Linking up with the lovely Rebecca.
