Weekend visitors

We had the hubby's mum, sister and her three children come and stay at the weekend.  They live 4 hours away, so for the past two years we have tried to make use of a bank holiday weekend for them to visit so they can stay for longer.  It is quite full on with the five children...7,4,4,3 and 18 months...but they had a lovely time together.  Even though they see each other only every 6 - 10 weeks or so, they just pick up where they left off and play very nicely together.  Avie and Lily see their other cousins (my sisters' three children who are 8,5 and almost 3) weekly at least, so it is nice that the distance doesn't seem to affect their relationship with their other cousins.
